However, what if he buys tickets and pays for a trip to the final four? Certainly, paying for first class airplane tickets and a paying for a weekend in Paris entitles a man to sex and a woman accepting such a date would be an ungrateful bitch if she refused sex.

The characters and situation do make a difference. If a girl accepts an all-expense-paid trip to Paris, and if they are both young and beautiful, sleeping with the young man is part of the deal, regardless of whether or not it was discussed. However, if she is a pretty twenty-year-old girl and he is a forty-year-old man, just being arm candy is payment enough.

First of all money shouldn’t even really be a topic of discussion when it comes to asking out someone on a date. I would only ask a girl on a date , that I felt like we have great chemistry with each other whether in person or over the phone. Obviously, you don't ask a woman on an expensive date until after you know her. There is such a thing as meeting someone online and asking for a coffee date to meet and get acquainted. However, for a more expensive and elaborate date, you should at least know the woman before asking.

There is no free lunch, so when a woman accepts an expensive date, she is obligated to give something in return. If it is a dinner date at an upscale restaurant, her company and the attention she gives the guy are payment enough. However, if it is an out-of-state multiple-day date to a bowl game such as the Sugar Bowl, her company and attention may not be sufficient payment.

A date should not be longer than one single hour. At least that is my opinion. You can a full course meal in one hour and that is where the date would end for me. A hand shake after the meal and both go their own way.

As for the costs of said meal, it should not be more than half of what he/she can afford to pay. If the meal costs more, then the difference is absorbed by the one choosing a more expensive restaurant.

A date should also always be in a public place where the woman can hope to get help should there something go wrong.

For a Paris trip, the guy cannot require her to put out, but generally, she is violating her unspoken agreement if she doesn't. He could tell her, "If you are going to act like that, forget about me paying for your return flight." It would not take her more than a couple of minutes to discover that a plane ticket will cost $800 to $1200, so she would probably put out. However, after that, fucking her would not be any good and he would get a lot of criticism from people that knew them.
