The shave off all body hair thing is time consuming and causes hair bumps and ingrown hairs. The same is true of waxing. All of which are time-consuming and expensive and painful.

Pubic hairs cause body to body "slippage" which is important in the prevention of STDs.

When skin is stripped bare, skin to skin sticks and causes micro tears which allow bacteria and viruses to be able to enter.

I know this has been the "fashion" for quite a while, and I've tried it, but it was a miserable experience. So I went "au natural," which I now know has a purpose.

And if you're worried about getting hair in your teeth? Buy a fine toothed comb, take a bath and use a little creme rinse on that area and comb through it. Loose hairs will comb out lickety split. OH I made a cute pun.

I gave you factd about why humans HAVE body hair and why removing it, fashionable or not, is not the BEST idea. If you're in a permanent relationship with ONE person, have at all the pruning you want to do!

However, if you're NOT with one person only, it is not the best idea to shave smooth as it is not the SAFEST idea, sexually. Just because it's the fashion for oral sex doesn't mean it makes sense, or it's comfortable.

Those factors, the time it takes to do it and the hygienic factors alone make it less than desirable.

People seem to think pubic hairs are "nasty". If you bathe daily, your pubic hairs, just like your head hairs that you shampoo, are clean, as is the rest of your body.

I'm a head and shoulders type of guy before a date. I'd tell people to keep their hair on, it's an adult thing to have.
