Distant partner how to act?

I've been seeing someone for the last three months. Initially, he was very engaged, frequently calling and texting me. He mentioned that he wanted a serious relationship and not just a casual fling. However, suddenly, his behaviour has shifted. He has become quite distant, texting me less often, and he now decides when we meet. I tried discussing this with him, and he said he would attempt to communicate more, but I don't feel much has changed. The worst part is that he referred to us as just dating instead. I feel confused and torn about what to do next. Should I give it more time, or should I just quietly move on?

Just move on , it sounds like he isn’t telling you something and just stringing you along for his selfish benefit , when someone really likes you and wants to be with you , they don’t distance themselves from you , they just like the convenience of you , when it’s convenient for them , Do not waste your time on someone that doesn’t make you their top priority ,

Move on! He lost interest.. it usually happens at the 3 month mark and he will drag it on even tho he isn't serious about you cuz he still wants to have sex or try to have sex if you haven't yet.
