Story of my life. I was texting a girl on Facebook for a total of 3 weeks looking back at my texts. Tried a couple times to setup a time to grab or drink or something. Said she was possibly available during the week, so then I follow up and turns out she's too busy now for the time I was trying to get her out. Tried again a week later still too busy. Not sure why they waste the energy to text me back, but decided to cut my losses after the second time. Nobody is too busy if they really wanted to meetup. So then a month later she's facebook official with some guy. No wonder she was so busy. Already banging some other dude and talking to me at the same time 🙄😒 this literally always happens to me. They aren't too busy, they just aren't ever interested. I guess maybe I spent too much time texting her before trying to get her out? It's like deja vu all over again. This is why I don't bother with the dating apps anymore. It's just a competition is all. No telling if she was on a dating app or not.

First, you need to dissociate your happiness from the results. Don’t get down and out because girl number 547 didn’t go out with you. Maybe 548 is the one…


Second, you should never escalate off of a pushback.
That means when you talk and flirt with a girl the conversation needs to flow not be analytical.
If you say: let’s go out
And she says: I’m busy
Your next message can’t be: let’s go out next week.
She’s clearly having doubts about seeing you.
You need to take a step back and flirt with her some more make her laugh again, turn her on.
And THEN, ask for another date.


And forget the whole “story of my life” bullshit
Aside from the few guys who got married to their high school sweethearts we all share the same story.
That makes it the cultural norm not a specific case where you’re having a hard time

You need to man up and step your game up. Competition is everywhere and she probably met this guy organically. A man who is confident enough to not be on dating apps, attractive and has great social skills. Something you dont possess.

I wasn't on a dating app. Just started talking to her on fb and got her number that way. We had some good conversation before asking her out. She talked about her kids, what she does for fun etc.

Doesn't matter that's an app. You're insecure and he's not. Women do not want weak, insecure men with no confidence and no ability to be competing. The guy is better than you just move on

I guess people are back to bars and clubs again. Dating apps are dead now it seems. I used to be able to land dates left and right off the apps. Still never got enough dates with the same girl to be official but whatever I guess
