I’m bisexual, but I want to date women. Is that a deal breaker?

I can only speak for myself and I would never date a bi woman because I don't see how a bi person can be satisfied with just one partner. They need one of each sex. So it's not that I have something against bi women it's that I have something against women who want to have sex with both me and someone else.

That’s just a fear. There’s a lot of bi people that end up on a side eventually. Like anyone, how important is monogamy to you and your partner. I have a bi coworker that says she prefers dating women. Most likely she’ll end up with a woman. There’s a YouTuber I watch she’s openly bi but married to a man. She’s stated she loves her husband isn’t one of those weirdos fetishizing her sexuality or saying stuff like she’s greedy and needs a person from each gender. She said no matter who she was with in her dating life monogamy is the most important thing to her, so if you can’t be faithful you gotta go. I knew a guy that was bi and he was happy I was the first woman that never judged him for it, he wasn’t a cheating jerk he was open and we separated amicably.

I have an older cousin who married a world famous super model in the 60s. Then he figured out he was gay, divorced her and spent the next 50 years with a man.

Sorry, I don't want anyone who is confused about their sexuality. There's enough problems in a relationship without that.

By the way I really like that cousin. One reason I like him is because he never "came out" to the family. He had the respect for us to know that some people don't want to hear about his sexuality. We all knew he was gay. It was obvious. He brought his partner to all the family events. But he never talked about it. I HIGHLY respected him for that. I don't care what your sexuality is as long as you keep it to yourself. If your going to flaunt it in public and in parades in front of children and people who don't want to hear about it, then you deserve the disrespect that you get.

@RingOfFire I agree that sexuality should be a private matter. Too many people are too open about their TMI business. Even though it stings that a lot of people wouldn’t give me a chance because I am sexually confused, or conflicted. I respect peoples preferences and appreciate your honesty.

Most bi people like OP aren’t confused about their sexuality they just happen to like who they like. Too bad the cousin didn’t figure that out before marriage he could’ve saved some money not getting a divorce. But my strongest sexual desire is pleasing a masculine and physically attractive man. I also love to give pleasure to women. That said Id never cheat on my woman if I was taken and Id miss it but I would sacrifice sex with men for the right woman.

I agree, I’m somewhat in the closet myself and I think it comes from a place of immense fear and angst. I feel like people think I am an inadequate man. I was bullied a lot for being effeminate even though I am mostly normal. I’m not a femboy or anything out there. I always liked doing my eyebrows, being hygienic, looking cute and liking cute things, stuff like that.
