Like changing his political views, clothing style, evening going as far as getting tattoos removed. I'm very conservative and I've got a guy who used to be very left wing whose completely changed himself all just to impress me. I think it's kinda stupid and he should learn to like himself for who he is even if it's not more me

He might look like he's changed for a while. But he will revert back to his old ways. For sure. Few guys have ever TRIED to change to impress a girl and had the change last. That's not to say that there aren't cases where somebody does end up changing because of the girl they're with. But not on purpose. It's a bi-product of being with that person, not a decision to change.

I think it's not genuine change. Even if he is genuine in his intent to change.

I'd accept a girl becoming conservative if she was smelling the coffee but if it was to ingratiate herself it would probably be temporary.

No not really it hurts seeing him change. Yes we are different people but someone shouldn't change to be loved unless there a ass whole. Makes me feel sick to my stomach a little.

It's foolish. I've done that ONCE in my life and have never done it since, will never do it again either.

Now to be fair, at the time I didn't know she was gaming me. I didn't realize that she just liked seeing me dance for her. I changed because I was responding to positive reinforcement. I learned a lot of what to avoid in women from that chick.😆
