Why do abusive guys tend to have gross sense of humor?

I noticed every guy I dated in the past were abusive not only that but had the grossest sense of humor. Stuff so disturbing it would make anyone sick. Does abuse and nasty humor go hand and hand?

Emotional intelligence. So they don't understand that it's gross, just as they don't see how their behavior is inappropriate.

Usually go hand in hand with being very attractive in one way or another, which is why they don't have to develop their emotional intelligence because girls will go for them anyway.

Well usually a person who can't control themselves to the point they hurt other people to feel better, would have a fucked up mentality as well. All abusive people have red flags, pay attention.
