My mom is the daughter of two farmers her dad even being a misguided communist of all things


And she managed to join the army make a career for herself, get married have kids put them through school and college (covering more expenses than my dad because she made more)
Not a fortune 500 CEO but more successful than so many people.
Im older than she was when she enlisted and am nowhere close to being as successful
