But I've watched these little romances play out in all sorts of ways around me. I think it's dangerous on one hand and on the other hand it's just effing annoying when it gets in the way of work being done... especially if I'm basically the supervisor and I'm going to get blamed somehow as if I can really control it.

Women do this for all sorts of reasons... attention usually... manipulations... just a horny toad, et cetera. I've watched some women (married) serial slut her way through the whole damn lineup of men that don't give a fuck. And by the way, I respect your decision not to eff around with a chick just because she's making herself available to it. Few men have that sort of respect about them and most of them remind me pussy vultures that just can't help themselves. They end up in some shit situation sometimes because of it. I would place my bets on you being right with your question. Something is probably going on in her relationship, maybe he's sick of her shit, and instead of working on it, she's gonna suck another dude into the mix and since you're right there... her shots are gonna get shot in your direction. But as with most women you don't really know until it's too late. If you don't fuck around, you'll never have to find out. ... hopefully. You never know nowadays.

She probably is doing that since most people cheat. I personally never become close with co workers because if something goes bad they may be the cause of you losing your job. I'll be friendly, talkative and joke around but I rarely would hang with them after work or give them my number. With male co workers I have never done either, the best I did with male co workers is follow each other on facebook and never messaged, its only a workplace relationship. I was like that with guys even in high school. I am only your friend in this establishment, not in real life lol.
