I have been told handsome by some elder women, even I think am just an very ordinary average looking man.

No. Most older women dislike most men. But most older women also know they have diminished sexual appeal (at least if she's honest with herself). And these women (like all women) still like a man's attention. So basically it all comes down to how much that woman is WILLING to tolerate from a guy for that attention. Some women never mature. Some women will 50 or 60 and still think she deserves very attractive man.

Perhaps they do, but most women do not want to date a much younger man. It's certainly the case that older men are attracted to younger women they might have overlooked when they were younger.
