It’s possible that their values differ on the matter. In western cultures, the mother’s values are favored over the father’s both societally and under the law. So there’s nothing he can do to stop her from posting his kids online even if he tried. So he could just be true to his values and hoping she comes around.

I don’t know this man you speak of but I am law enforcement. I don’t want anyone who sees my profile to see I even have children. The reality is I stopped posting to my FB account when I became law enforcement. Maybe he too wants to protect his children

Probably to keep his family safe from online creepers. If I used social media or had kids I would never put place photos of my kids online. Just a protective thing.

That is her decision even if I disagree with it. If my hypothetical girlfriend wishes to post her children online, that is on her. I still would not pst my hypothetical children just because she is doing it. My concern would remain for my children’s safety from nuts online. Further, I would request she does post any photos of my kids online that she may have taken. If this is an issue for her, there are other women in the world who would respect my wishes.
