He still has his wedding photos on his social?

I have been dating this guy for 3 months. He got married in 2019 and I added him on social. He still has all his wedding photos up and also he had his status listed as "open relationship" thing is, they have gotten a divorce. He seems nice and said he wants to move forward with me but is this a red flag?

I wouldn’t move forward with anything until that is settled. You’ve got to really love someone to marry them, and 2019 wasn’t long ago. The fact that he’s still going through the divorce while having “open relationship” as his online status, it just gives the impression that they may not be fully done or he’s still leaving the door open for things to work with her. Don’t be fooled by the nice guys — they are sometimes the worst because you give them so much benefit of the doubt off the bat without them even earning it. He could be just as lethal as a stereotypical jackass sort of dude, he’s just gonna go about it with a lot of apologies and kindness.

I once had a potential date look at my Facebook and get upset that my profile listed me as divorced rather than as single!
The pictures I would ignore - if there are a lot of them, it would probably be a pain in the ass to remove them all. And there might be friends/family who still like seeing them.


The "open relationship" part on the other hand is another story. Is he in a relationship with another woman (ex wife or otherwise) that he's said is open? If he has, then it's up to you whether you want to venture into that. If he hasn't or says he isn't if you ask him, then it's suspicious he'd have that status. It's possible he had an open one with a previous partner and then forgot to change the status after breaking up with her. Or maybe that's what he's hoping to find. Or maybe he's in one but lying about it. So yeah, I'd be cautious at least.
