I’m in college (Ivy League) and met this girl who is honestly perfect in every way. She’s insanely beautiful (like “gets discounts just for walking in” beautiful), smart, ambitious, knows exactly what she wants in life, and comes from an elite, well-connected, financially stable family—but she’s super humble and grounded.

She’s feminine, kind, respected, supportive (even of my insecurities), and somehow still makes time for me. She’s made it clear she wants to be a mom and build a family, and I know she’d be an amazing mother. She’s truly the full package—once in a lifetime.

We like each other and have a strong connection. She’s a virgin and has never been in a relationship—not because she couldn’t, but because she’s waiting for someone who loves her for who she is, not just her body. She’s turned down guys who are rich and attractive, even ones willing to wait, because she didn’t feel a connection.

When I brought up sex and told her I have a high drive, she said she does too but has learned to manage it.

Now here’s where I’m stuck: I’ve had a few relationships and hookups before. I’m not a full-on player, but I’ve had fun. A part of me still wants to enjoy college and maybe hook up a bit more before settling down.

But then there’s her. She’s 100% someone I’d marry. And honestly, a part of me wishes she’d just wait for me while I go live that phase out… then I come back and make her mine.

Should I test the car before I drive it, or is physical attraction + similar drives enough?

You're 19 and I suppose she's around your age. This means you need at least 10 more years to get your degree, career and have enough savings for a house and car.

If she's that "perfect", then she may find someone else during her work life.

And yes, when someone is perfect, then it's you who's "blinded" to her imperfections. And this will turn into a nightmare when your eyes are opened after marriage.

Finally, if you want fun (she's a virgin?), then please be fair to her. Wait together otherwise let her go.

Go for it because if you don't, you'll regret. But be prepared for a brokenheart because there's still a long time to go before you could settle with her. And time changes both of you.

We will both graduate at 22, I think she will already have a job lined up right after graduation, considering that she already is a part of a startup as well. Me on the other hand, I do not know how long it will take me to find a job.

Girls are very practical today. If she's already part of a startup and earning $ or has great leadership, then she'll likely seek out richer guys. Not that she's a gold digger, but that her standard is higher.

But if she's naturally attracted to you then you're in luck.

If you still want the freedom to hook up with other girls, don’t date her yet because she deserves someone fully in.
