Getting a small hand tattoo on the side of my hand but worrying whether people will discriminate i have others in visible places no negativity please and this is what I wil be having.

Hands, neck and face are probably the three places that will get the most attention. Aside what the easily offended on GaG would say…🥱 Tattoos, in real life, are not as looked down upon anymore. Most people have them. Mine have had compliments yelled at me from the back of stores and across parking lots. Every type of person and in different levels of education have given mine praise. I have animal portraits, they are clear and in realism. Random people are drawn to them and often share personal stories. I feel a clear, realistic snake would draw the same positive attention. Conversation starter. Easy enough to conceal with makeup if ever needed. If you feel it already apart of you then you know you really love it.

Yes I have a neck tattoo. That's true I'm just worrying what people will think maybe I just shouldn't because I didn't when I had my others done. That sounds awesome! Snakes are beautiful often misunderstood and thats true.

If you want one go for it.

with highly visible ones, I would always say get some ink in other places first.

Then if you decide you like them, look at one that’s visible with certain clothes.

Hand ones can influence things like career progression, the world has not unfortunately changed enough.

personally I like them, consider a henna type or similar first.

Also I think on the hand some places like fingers don’t take too well.

I do have other tattoos and one on my neck that is visible but I can also cover it with my hair. Henna is cool I may buy one of them henna type stickers and see how it looks

Yeah, with visible, you really need to be. Certain what you want, where exactly and if it’s in a area where it can fade etc

I do want it just more worried what people would think which is strange because I didn't with my others and have heard they do fade more on hands

If you are one of those People who talk with your hands thn it’s more visible, also we tend to greet people with hands, when we work our hands are visible.

people will always judge, either obviously or subconsciously. My tattoos often get others to comment negatively, but many others just love them.

That's true some people don't like my neck tattoo but then others think it's awesome and love it! I love it though as its so me. I suppose tattoo's are like marmite maybe I should stop listening to the negativity.

Go for it! Who cares what people think. Most people will love it and you’ll probably get heaps of compliments anyway. I just booked into a place for a hand tattoo aswell!
