I called him out his name and he won’t talk to me, I feel horrible, what should I do?

Do you think it's fair to say that I called the man I've been dating on and off a 'bitch,' which I deeply regret, especially considering that I have been disrespected by him multiple times in the past? These past experiences led me to believe he was doing something wrong, but it was a misunderstanding, and I overreacted based on those experiences. He has recently been trying to change, but I am still dealing with the repercussions of his previous actions. I have forgiven him, but he has not yet forgiven me for what I said. Do you think my feelings and perspective make sense in this situation?

Notice how men are always able to protect their standards and boundaries? He’s called you out your name numerous times, you take him back again and again. You call him a bitch ONCE and there’s no forgiveness. In fact it could probably end what you have completely and to me that is such a double standard. You should be just as fierce as a man is about protecting your value, your standards and boundaries yet you toss them out the window to keep a guy.

If he can't communicate openly about stuff like this, maybe it's time to find a guy a little further along the path to maturity.
