What do you think is the reason why some men are never taken seriously by women?

They just messing with the wrong women or giving the wrong women attention

A girl said to me "We like nice guys but don't respect them". Women have a great need to respect men in a way that men just don't need to respect women. You will hear women say "I really respect him" wrt to a new boyfriend. It is said very seriously.

In contrast if a woman says she has lost respect for her boyfriend, you can be sure the relationship is ending soon.

In answer to the question, I think the something missing is female respect for the guy. Maybe he is too nice, maybe too dependent. Somewhere in the female mind, is thinking if he is a pushover for me, he will be a pushover for everybody else and that's not good for my well being with him.

I took a new girl to an after work function. Afterwards she said to me your colleagues really respect you. That seemed to be important to her. So respect from others can be a signal to a woman she should respect this guy.

For most of our million years as a species, women have more in a man's hand's for bringing home the bacon and status in the tribe. So female respect has been an evolutionary necessity just as picking a fertile girl is for men.

Mate copying is a female strategy. If they think a man is partnered, women rate him as more attractive than if they think he is single. I think respect is behind this.

Most of the time they don’t take themselves seriously and then expect women to do so


Fact is you have work to put in as a man (and a woman)


But as a man you must be fit, cultured, stylish, interesting, and self confident

Many men are sorely lacking in these department but unwilling to admit it even to themselves
Then they get curved by women and start looking for social excuses that somehow absolves them

Male or female, most problems are brought on by the people themselves. Some people are so quick to play victim, I'd be surprised if they don't carry around their own body chalk.

Guys have a very small window when it comes to women. If you recognize that window you're getting laid that night (even if you just met her). If you don't recognize that window you're never even getting a date.

Too many guys make the mistake of thinking the have ANY say in a woman's feeling towards him. He doesn't! If a woman get in the feels about you you can get the keys to the kingdom. If she doesn't NOTHING you DO or SAY will change that fact. You'll just be and ego stroke and entertainment for her.

Not sure what you mean by not taken seriously but in MY opinion when I think ‘it’s hard to take this guy seriously’ it’s been when he just is too passive. I’m passive so two passive people is a joke.
