Dating a girl who you don’t want marriage with?

So I’ve heard some gossip today from my hairdresser that my ex who had gotten with a rebound girl told his mom (we share the same hairdresser) that he “doesn’t want marriage. (Not clear if he meant with her or in general) She knows we are together and that’s that.” Vs when my ex and I got together, he told everyone that he wanted to marry me 3 months in. The mom also asked the hairdresser about me and only had nice things to say. Apparently he also mentioned to his mom how the rebound girl wants marriage and to be a wife despite what he said he wanted. Guys, what does this sound like to you?

You’re his ex, move on. Why do women try to reminiscence on things like this or make others feed into their narrative to give them hope that even though the relationship is over. Who dumped who?

Well I’m just curious. He dumped me saying how he wanted a girlfriend who was a “programmer and who he could build a business with.” His new girlfriend is a girl in another country and is a nurse.

Ok. So he wasn’t really into you. It’s over. Try to move on. Sounds like you’re holding onto hope. Trying to find all these reasons to give yourself that hope that he still wants to be w you. I understand how you feel, I’ve been through that. But it’s time to move on.
