I guess I should have specified, do you think media outlets such as entertainment, pornography, and general masculine culture prioritizes a standard of beauty not easily achieved while simultaneously condemning those who cannot meet more than three of those standards?

Interesting, I don't see any institution around me teaching that... Seen from an aesthetical only viewpoint, average means neutral to me, not pretty, not ugly, just standard.

Beauty is subjective, yes, otherwise it would mean that we're looking at beauty from an cognitive only perspective, which is impossible, except for machines.

Masculine culture?
Ultra-masculine and ultra-feminine cultures (might need a definition here...) seem heavily influenced by unachievable standards of beauty, for both genders. Because they're obsessive and monotasking cultures, putting objects on a pedestal, at the expense of people.

Pornography?
Funny case, while megacorps in the field somewhat advocate and act like diversity matters. They're obviously shady. I'd expect them to greenwash the audience soon enough, if they feel like it's going to bring more cash lol

Entertainment? Seems much too vast to me to have an idea about what entertainment is promoting. Because there are so many sources of entertainment now, with the internet, from the most obscure communities to mainstream pop.

most average girls are actually really cute... below average girls are meh and ugly girls are just that unfortunately. But... super hot (by society's standards) girls are really not that pretty once you start to talk to them in my experience.
