I'm planning on buying a pair of the sparkliest diamond earrings as a display of wealth. Just like a man's ferrari is a display of his wealth and status

Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yNo. Rich people don’t often flash things like that. They can usually tell who the brokies are because brokies tend to purchase things that make them look like they’re rich. That’s like these women who purchase Louis Vuitton bags for thousands of dollars but only have a few bucks on their bank account. Save the money, build some real wealth then purchase the earrings. If you’re wealthy already then purchase the earrings. Just be careful you don’t want to advertise that too much, someone may rob you.

Asker1 yand what type of poor person can afford 20,000 for diamond earrings?
Opinion Owner1 yMost poor people can’t, but that doesn’t mean they don’t purchase other things to make theirselves look rich. Even a pair of $2000 diamonds.
Asker1 ya pair of diamonds is not 2000. Especially the ones I am buying. I'm buying the sparkliest diamonds with brilliant round exquisite cut, fire, rainbow sparkles.
cheap diamonds are 2000. I'm willing to pay as much as 10k for 1 diamond. 20k for 2 diamonds. 20k for a pair of earrings.
Asker1 ynot all diamonds are created equal. I'm not buying cheap diamonds with poor cut.
Asker1 yyou can't show off your wealthy with a diamond that has minimal sparkle. Nobody would notice it.
Opinion Owner1 yOk so purchases them. Who cares, your choice. Have a good night.
Asker1 yI don't mean to try to act like I'm better than anyone else. But as someone who has worked ridiculously hard her entire life to obtain a comfortable life, I just want to show the world that I have succeeded in life and have done well for myself.
It's really not to try to look down on anyone. We all start from the bottom up.
Opinion Owner1 yDoesn’t matter if you’re trying to look down on others or not. In the end no one really cares. If you like them, get them. The only people you might be impressing are other women, men really don’t care about women’s finances. Like I said if you have the money get them.
Asker1 y@opinion owner
men do care about a woman's finances, more than you think. Men do show more respect to high class women than low class women. It shows you're a woman of substance and intellect and capability.
Imagine if you brought a guy home and you live in the ghettos versus living in a nice, gorgeous, comfortable, gorgeous apartment
Asker1 yThis display of wealth and status keeps broke, poor, unsuccessful or insecure men away.
Because it tends to be the insecure, poor men who steer clear of rich women.
I have no intention of building a life with insecure poor men either. They're toxic to anyone who is more successful than them
Opinion Owner1 yNo most men don’t. You may know a handful but as a man who knows a lot of other men, we don’t. Here’s why. Most women aren’t going to take care of their man financially. Most women still want a man to pay for things, pay for the house, vacations, etc. Most
Women want a man to make as much as them or more. Women usually don’t date down on the financial scale, men do. That’s why a lot of rich women are usually single or can’t keep a relationship. Post a question. Ask men, do you care about a woman’s finances? The only way most men will care is if she’s in extreme debt.
Asker1 y@opinion owner
Rich men tend to date other rich women.
Poor men tend to date other poor women
who said men don't care about a woman's finances?
There is a reason why rich men don't tend to marry poor women.
Asker1 yUpper classes want to marry those in the upper classes.
Upper class and wealth is status.
Asker1 yPoor people are delusional enough to believe that there are plenty of upper class men who are fighting to date a low class woman who live in the ghettos.
Opinion Owner1 yMost men aren’t insecure when it comes to a rich woman. They don’t want to deal w them because these types of women are usually masculine. No man wants to go home to another man who’s constantly butting heads w him. But what would I know I’ve only been a man for 47 years.
So I take it you’re married than? Boyfriend?
Asker1 y@opinion owner
actually you are much less likely to butt heads with your wife if you are financially comfortable , rich, live in a nice home, don't have problems with rent.
do you know what rich couples do? they plan vacations together and go on multilpe vacations within a year. They can afford to hire nannies to take care of their kids so they can fly off to the carribean.
this is way better than to fight with your wife at home about how she spent too much on groceries so now you don't have enough to pay your rent.
studies also have shown that financially stable couples tend to divorce less.
Opinion Owner1 yOk so prove me wrong. Ask that question. Again are you married? Have a boyfriend?
Asker1 yMen always act like rich women are masculine. Peolpe make a lot of money because they are smart, and hard working, not necessarily masculine.
And these are the women who can afford to hire stylists to do their hair, get manicures, pedicures, buy glamorous outfits, smell nice with luxury perfumes, sexiest heels, amazing massages. These are the women who truly get to be feminine.
While your wife can't even afford to buy a nice dress.
Asker1 y@opinion owner
yes I do have a boyfriend.
Opinion Owner1 yStop avoiding the question. I’m assuming you are single. And you won’t ask the question I suggested because you know I’m right. Stop trying to justify what you think, just ask the question. Doesn’t matter what you think. What matters is what the men think. If I’m wrong I’m wrong, but I doubt it.
Asker1 yI told you, I have a boyfriend.
Opinion Owner1 ySo he makes as much as you? Why had t he married you yet?
Asker1 y@opinion owner
I broke up with my last boyfriend 3 years ago. My current boyfriend asked me to be his girlfriend last month. Its been going wonderfully well so far. He is a professional man, working in tech. I work in healthcare. No, he does not make as much as me. But he has enormous potential. We are both the same age.
Asker1 yand I do love buying pretty dresses. I buy a new dress every few weeks. I love floral flowy dresses. And I love it when the man takes the lead. I'm a very submissive woman.
Opinion Owner1 ySo why did you breakup w your ex?
Asker1 yFor me, its not important that a man makes more money than me. What is truly important is that he is an alpha male, larger / stronger than me. And that I can trust his ability to protect and defend us when the time comes. As a woman, I can't do everything a man can do. I can make more money but I cannot defend myself like a man. That's why it is so important that I have faith in his ability to protect me.
Asker1 y[So why did you breakup w your ex?]
I'm not obligated to write my entire autobiography to you.
Asker1 yPlus, I lack the assertiveness of a real man. Real men are dominant and know how to assert authority. I lack the vocal power to do so. Certain things come to men more naturally than to women. Its not that I can't be dominant or assertive, it just does not come naturally to me. Thats why I need an assertive dominant man
Opinion Owner1 yNo one said you were obligated but I asked. Makes me think it had to do w things financially.
Asker1 y@opinion owner
I think that its always the poor men who are bitter and like to stereotype all rich women. You have a very bitter way of looking at things.
Asker1 yAnd the thing is... I really don't look down on poor people. I came from a poor background.
Display of wealth might sound arrogant to you. But it's my form of self expression. I want to show that I am self made, a woman of substance and class. Thats it.
Opinion Owner1 yYes I’m bitter lol I hate my wife of 16 years who hasn’t worked since our 3rd year together. I despise her cause she lacks finances lol I’m far from poor, but I don’t need to go around showing off.
Opinion Owner1 ySo then do what you want. No one says you can’t. If that’s what you like so be it. That’s not me. I’m happiest when I help others.
Asker1 y@opinion owner
just because your wife does not work, it doesn't mean she is well off.
I know plenty of wives who do not work because they can't afford to pay for daycare or hire a nanny.
Opinion Owner1 yOk. Well it was nice talking to you. I have some things to take care of. Post a pic of the earrings when you get them.
Asker1 y[ I’m happiest when I help others.]
I am aware that poor men get very insecure around rich women.
thats part of the reason why I choose to display my wealth. Its to keep men like you away.
Poor men hate rich women because it screws with their egos and they always end up being toxic.
poor people should only date other poor people for the best results.

1 yROFL, diamonds are a fantastic marketing tactic by DeBeers, the global diamond cartel. Otherwise useless rocks outside of industrial diamonds, DeBeers has managed to convince insecure idiots to pay insane prices to prove they love someone or impress people who don't give a fuck about you. Go DeBeers! Capitalism at its finest.

Asker1 ySays the poor man.

No bitch. Says the indepently wealthy man who realizes the manipulation that is part and parcel of the capitalist system that you are utterly blind to. But keep giving away your cash for worthless rocks. I love making money off morons with huge insecurities.
Asker1 yOnly a poor man would call gorgeous precious diamonds as worthless rocks
Its a worthless rock you can never afford- 1 y
You are an absolute blind fucking target of marketing guys everywhere. Thank you for your imbecile insecurities.
Asker1 yi think you're the bitter insecure one on here
Anonymous(30-35)1 ylol diamond earrings can be fake too. so no. a sign of wealth is not wealthy things. it's about having actual assets that appreciate in value and liquid cash. not stuff you spend your money on. what i'm saying is, a guy can have a lambo, but he can be poor because he spent all of his money on a lambo. is he rich? no. he's just very bad at money management. but on the outside, he appears rich. but he's actually drowning in debt.

Asker1 yno fake diamond will even resemble the sparkle and fire of a real one. Its very easy to identify a real diamond.
Opinion Owner1 ynah, not if you get a cubic zirconia. moissanite can also pass the test. and who is looking that closely at your ears?
Asker1 yno hun, I owned a moissanite at one point. It does not even come close.
Asker1 ymoisannite is a cheap type of sparkly.
Opinion Owner1 ylol no hun.
Asker1 yYes. Diamonds cost so much more than moisanite for a reason. They're hella different.
Opinion Owner1 yi am not talking about the cost.
1 yI mean not really. Guess it depends on the size of the diamond... most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a diamond and a CZ anyway
011 Reply
Asker1 ythere is no replica of a real diamond. I have never seen a fake diamond that has been able to resemble a real one.
- 1 y
I mean when it's on your ears most people wouldn't even think about it being a diamond.
But also many "fake" diamonds can be indistinguishable to the average person
Asker1 yyou can tell a real diamond when you look at the way it sparkles. By the way, not all diamond sparkle the same way. It really depends on the way it is cut.
- 1 y
Many gems sparkle... infact moissanite sparkles more than diamond
Asker1 yMoissanite sparkle is a much cheaper type of sparkle. More flash but low on substance. Not all gems sparkle the same precious way
- 1 y
Damn, you simple minded. I like you. You are a profitable customer.
- 1 y
The average person cannot tell the difference... just like you cannot tell the difference between a lab diamond and a natural diamond unless you have the tools to do so
Asker1 y@razp_sorbet
i can absolutely tell the difference. they just say nobody can tell the difference as a way to market cheap moissanite diamonds
trust me, if moissanite diamonds were as gorgeous as diamonds, they would be priced similar to real diamonds
moissanite is a lot cheaper because manufacturers know the shine just isn't as special- 1 y
https://streamable.com/qvksoc
Tell the difference then 🙃
Asker1 y@razp_sorbet
you can't tell the difference from a camera lens. you need to hold both to compare under real life, in person.
camera lens distorts a lot of how it looks.
i have owned a moissanite before. It in no way shape or form resembles the shine of a true diamond.- 1 y
If you know how to tell them apart then you can tell through a camera lense. If you have to look at them all up close and personal then I think it's safe to say the difference isn't noticeable to the average person

Anonymous(36-45)1 yNo they are a display of stupidity.. Diamonds, if they weren't so tightly controlled by the cartels, would be worthless.
Asker1 yDiamonds have always been expensive even without the cartels
Opinion Owner1 yLmao, if you believe that, then you don't know your history very well. If it weren't for de beers controlling 100% of the mining and the flow of diamonds, they would be worthless. But you can believe what ever you wish.
Asker1 ydiamond would never be cheap or worthless. there is a reason they're not expensive. its because they are exquisite
Opinion Owner1 yKeep telling your self that child. Only the stupid/weak minded are attracted to shiny objects.
