Not “more”, but looks are the primary factor for attraction in most animals, including humans. Some people deny that simple fact of evolutionary biology out of sheer ignorance. Others do so to bolster a false sense of moral superiority.
Physical attraction is of chief importance to every able bodied person with their full faculties. Even the “enlightened” are not clicking on profiles with no photos. If personality is all that matters, why does every dating coach, site and app insist that we put our best photo at the top of our profile? That includes Bumble, the dating app by women and for women. Shouldn’t Bumble disallow photos entirely if personality is all that matters to women? Ell oh ell!

My approach to attraction is that appearance gets you through the door, or to the dating table, and personality gets you into a relationship or something worth having.

I suppose if we are brutally honest that makes appearance more key as it provides opportunity. The best personality in the world doesn't matter if you never get to show it.

But in practice if appearance meets my standard between an extra good personality or extra good appearance it is personality all the way. Even just a good attitude easily makes someone much more attractive.
