Is it foolish to avoid single mothers even at 30?

Mainly because I have trauma and thus I feel it’s not right to date a woman with kids while barely being a fit parent yourself.

I’m not bad looking and I get check-outs, but I was in prison for some time until I was found innocent (ages 20-26) and I feel as though that automatically makes dating women with a kids a horrible idea.

#1. most single mothers wouldn’t let a dude who’s been in jail anywhere near their kids. Innocent or not.

#2. even if they are okay with it, I feel ill-equipped for dating a single mother.

Well when you mentioned how you went to jail and how dating a women with kids is a terrible idea I guess my mind just went there. But honestly you were so YOUNG!!! Everyone makes mistakes.
