That is a loaded question. Generally, women don't just get bored and leave a "baby daddy". In most situations, they are Monkey Branching into other relationships. In other words, they are cheating and have their next man lined up when they leave. I don't care if she has no kids or 20. I WILL NOT date or have anything much to do with a cheater. Heck, when out with friends and I find out a man sitting at my table has a history of cheating one of us is leaving! There are many women out there that are now single moms, some are fantastic ladies who married males that were/are s**t stains on the butt of humanity! A good friend of mine married a single mother of two fantastic daughters close to 30 years ago. Back when he was very young he had a case of the mumps that "fall" on him rendering him unable to be a father. This man and his now wife as far as I know have lived a great life and he walked both of those gals down the aisle and gave them away. These gals biological father split years ago and nobody knows where he went to. Women with a history of cheating? NOPE! I'm sorry about those kids, but it's not my problem. A cheater is what they are!

+1 yI think age is irrelevant.
Most men want a single
Mother.
There are a lot of logical reasons.
I slept with one filipino girl in HK she only had one boyF and she only had sex with that one girl.
Which turned me on since she was attractive and she didn’t have too many guys we talk for a month finally she was okay to sleep with me with we met.
I booked a hotel and have fun for couple hours.
Was tight amazing body and everything…
However this is the part.. because she was inexperienced with herself.
She missed her period for 5 weeks.
Which I used a condom
And pulled out.
She got her period after 5 weeks. I’m saying this because she was clueless about her own body.
If the guy is stupid enough to
Cum inside her.
She’ll have the baby. And you can run away if you were abroad like me.
Which is going to eat up your conscious.
If
You’re local? Then.. you have to take of the kid.
When a single mother had a child. I think she’ll
Do it again. Like oppps kind of thing! Oh well.. not a big deal BS kind of thing.
Generally they’re not responsible.
The girl I slept with was 20, but once they get old. The kid becomes everything and with the natural birth her body will get creamed after a baby once she gets older!00 Reply
+1 yI'm a girl with no kids but I'm trying to think of what I'd do if the reverse was true. I guess I wouldn't actively look for a guy who had a kid, but if I already like a guy and the guy had a kid then I think I'd just continue loving him. If you are looking for love, you have to accept the whole person and what they come with. I think its kind of sad to shoot down the rare person who makes you feel good, who is otherwise perfect in your eyes, because they come with a +1. Now if he still has unfinished business with the mom that's another thing...

+1 yNo, you’re entitled to date whoever you want. I don’t have kids but I was raised by a single mom. She didn’t really date much when I was growing up, but the guys that I do remember her dating when I was younger were single dads who she met through a social organization for single parents. I don’t want to date single dads and get told often that I’m making a mistake by not dating them. I respect any childless person who does fall in love with a single parent however, we shouldn’t be made to feel shamed into doing it either.

u +1 yIt's not right or wrong. It's just a preference. Some people will say that makes you a shallow guy, and some will totally agree with you. But you obviously shouldn't date a woman if you don't want a future with her, unless you are both just looking for casual sex.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yNo you're not wrong. I always explain it to women like this. A single mon ho l do about as much attraction to us as a homeless man does to you.
I say this and women immediately get offended about it. But if they thought a little about it they'd probably understand why. It's not just they have another man's kid that they will always have a connection to. But they could decide to go back to at anytime. Tell me how many women would tolerate and ex-wife or baby mama in the picture... yeah that's what I thought!
But there is also the fact that she had a kid with this man just 1 if she's lucky and hopefully just one by one man. If she has multiple kids from multiple men then now a pattern is forming. She is showing how easy she is to dupe. Or how successful she is in relationships ( which doesn't bode well for you two). And keep in mind you're just seeing the tip of the iceberg.
Yes ladies you see a homeless guy and intuitively you see all the bad things about his character that probably brought him to where he's at. When we see a single mother we see the same thing. So don't take it personal.10 ReplyAt 32? Yeah I think that’s dumb to limit your dating life to people without children.
For the most part women don’t expect you to support their kid (s) unless you’ve gotten to the point in the relationship where you’re actually committed.
If you want your own kids it’s one less thing you’ll have to worry about because you already know exactly how she treats her own.
I doubt the majority of single moms are in that position because they are “bored and want different dick” who hurt you bro? Have more confidence, learn how to use your fingers and tongue.00 Reply- 3.5K opinions shared on Dating topic.
+1 yyou're out of your mind to touch what you just described, but that's different than the title.
Single mature woman is different than emotional basket case.
I'm dating single mom with kids, they are older. It's a choice, it works well, but it's not for everyone. You have to accept some realities... kids are #1 focus, they get attention, resources, priority, etc.. If you don't accept that, then stay with single women no kids, there's plenty around.
There are benefits to me as I don't have kids and at this point, not going to have them, so I get to enjoy raising kids without the higher level stress the parents have. It gives a focus and purpose in life.00 Reply 2.4K opinions shared on Dating topic. I won't date them either. It isn't my responsibility to deal with someone else's mistakes.
I don't want to deal with extra drama between them and their ex. Plus the kid wouldn't want to listen to rules and say things like "you aren't my real parent so I don't have to listen to your rules." Then there would be custody issues during holidays, plus it would be a financial burden. And when the relationship is new and you are supposed to get plenty of time for you two, the kid would prevent that most of the time.
I think single parents should go with other single parents. It is unfair to expect a single person without kids to want a single parent.
You last part about hooking up though, I disagree with. I think it is bad for anyone to hook up at all.00 Reply

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yI don't think you're wrong for not wanting to date them. I personally don't want to date guys with kids, simply because, 1: I'm not sure I even want kids, and 2. IF I do decide I want kids, I would want it to be a new experience for both of us. Having kids is such a defining moment in people's lives, and I'd want to share that with my significant other.
Where I do think you're wrong is in the update, where you said "I will fuck but not lock it down". If you're not interested in single moms, that's fine, but you shouldn't be fucking them either.10 Reply453 opinions shared on Dating topic. 1.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. There are advantages and disadvantages to dating single moms. If a man is close to middle age, he may not have much choice since most desirable women close to his age will have had children. However, it is different for younger men dating young single moms.
Everyone knows their disadvantages and the single moms know it too but may not want to admit and accept the fact that they cannot compete with equally pretty single girls. Therefore, the advantage is that you can date a more attractive young moms because if they were single they would accept the offers from more desirable guys; offers they would not get if they were moms. The difference in attractiveness is not large but it is noticeable.00 Reply
+1 yThis comment section continues to prove that if men show any semblance of having standards for the type of partner they pick, they're demonized for it, whereas if women have any standards, they're praised and told not to settle for anything but the best.
And then they go shocked Pikachu face when men start checking out of the dating scene.318 Reply- +1 y
@MzAsh Maybe I'm misinterpreting what you're saying, but it sounds like you're saying most men are so destitute, so bottom-of-the-barrel in terms of desirability that they can't afford to have a single standard.
Because I didn't stay men are picky or choosy, which are ambiguous but imply a somewhat high bar. I said any semblance of having standards, which implies a much lower bar. - +1 y
To continue, my thought is maybe there isn’t as much of a problem with men having standards as it is about where those standards come from. There is a huge difference between a guy who says “I’d really like to get with someone who I can experience parenthood for the first time with” and the guy who says “single moms are damaged goods, I don’t want sloppy 2nds”

00 Reply Not at all. Any man who dates a single mother needs to be willing and importantly want to accept the whole package. There is nothing wrong with not wanting it and that's from somebody who used to be a single mother.

" just get bored with their baby daddies and want different dick" is probably the less frequent reason why women become single mothers.
But you can have your preference, there is nothing wrong with that.00 Reply 468 opinions shared on Dating topic. Yeah there's nothing wrong with that. Women who divorce their husbands just because they're bored with them (whether they have children or not) probably don't take commitment seriously. Same with men who do the same.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yYou give men a bad name. The vast majority of single moms aren't single by choice, or because they did the dumping, or just wanted other dick. They're single because the guy walked out, or is a dead beat. Sure, sometimes the woman is just too hard to live with, but that's the case 90% of the time.
I could understand not wanting to date a single mom because you don't want to get involved in child raising at all, or especially another man's child. But your not even IN that ball park.11 Reply- +1 y
