If that person is not a superficial person like a great number of people are, then this congenital defect should not be a major issue in a relationship. Unfortunately, people place such an importance on perfection and yet, they are not perfect themselves.

If the character, personality and intellect are good, then there should be no problem dating a person with symbrachydactyly since it does not really impact the relation in itself.

Symbrachydactyly is not really a major physical challenge that could be compared to a more serious condition like missing a limb or a 3rd. degree burn on any body part.
