I'm older than that. Divorced at 50. Dating is easier but at the same time more annoying now.
@OneViewpoint : Nah. Self-absorbed clowns like yourself make the whole prospect grossly unappealing.
Seems harder now that I'm older. Women have more expectations that you have your shit together (have a place of your own, can drive, live a decent standard of life, etc). Back when I was in college, it didn't matter as much.
Not just that, but women seem to be much less available and have more baggage around my age. A lot of them are jaded and hate men or at the very least are really wary of them. It's also harder to meet them.
Dating life is rough to non-existent for me currently.
It's usually harder depending on your appearance, income and social life, if you're fat, poor, if 99 of your work environment are men and you don't have many friend / don't go out it would be very hard if your'e attractive rich and very social person or work somewhere with many women it's gonna be easier (as when you're older and richer you'll easily find women though not the best "quality" if I can say). But the guy will have lot of choice in this case for majority of guys though it would be harder.
The men I have known in that situation have always said it is much easier.

At that age, it should be easier than when you’re younger in terms of quantity. Quality may be another matter.
For me quantity was high in highschool and quality was low, as an adult its just a ghost town most of the time because I mostly stay at home.
Yeah I never found a woman I liked in the US that wasn't already taken by the time I found her becaue most millenial women aren't geeks, nerds, gamers, anime otakus, and artists.
At this point I can move to tokyo where the culture promotes that sort of thing, or end up alone.
I know that I am older, than the age range you put up.
But I find dating looking to make a connection harder, to many women in the age group I am looking to date in. Are not looking at me for romantic reasons, but for the security I seem to offer.
They want me because I have health insurance, I have a stable job and a roof over my head. They are looking at me because, they are looking for someone to be there for them because they have health issues. It also seems to me that, women are facing health issues in their 30's where before they where things you faced when you reached late 40's early 50's.
It is mind blowing how many women in there 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's, have debt issues and are a paycheck away from homelessness. I know a few women that have high paying jobs, that have squandered the money they where making. Expensive vacations, designer cloths, expensive cars, big houses they really could not afford. Now they are struggling to pay their mortgage, their utility bills, and have crippling credit card debt.
On the other hand, if I am looking to get laid (which I am not). I can go out and find a sex partner without having to try. I am 62, and I can go out on a Friday night and pick up a female from 18 to my age for sex. It is disturbing to me, how young the females have become that come into the bar I go to on a Friday to have a social drink. The bar I go to, the age group is middle 40's to 70's. There is a scattering of younger guys, but not many. Yet at happy hour, you have females from 18 to 30. Most in their middle 20's, looking to hook up for sex or to exchange sex for something.
Harder.
I'm a millenial, so it was already hard to find my type when I was younger, because most millenial women were never into gaming, science, making art, etc.
The ones who were are mostly taken, or are aging like milk, or aren't virgins anymore, or aren't atheists, or they drink alcohol or smoke or do pot or whatever else, or they want kids, or they don't like exotic pets, or they have low or average intelligence, or some other issue.
I look the same as my teen self as well, so I'm overlooked by millenial women even though I'm attractive, and drooled over by teenagers and women in their early 20s, so finding a match is hell.
Also I don't cold approach, I only date a female best friends, and finding friends as an adult is much harder when most of your hobbies are at home stuff. I make friends online but they always turn out to be too young or they turn out to be annoying. So I go long periods where I isolate.
I am surprised at the percentages of men who answered "harder". I have found it profoundly easier with age. I have had progressively more clout (financial and emotional if not physical) at 30, 40, 50... than I did at 20. And I just plain care less. I have learned that all too often "the juice" was not and is not worth "the squeezing" it took to obtain it, using that metaphor.
I think for most guys it gets harder but then later it gets easier. It gets easier later because a lot of guys aren't alive anymore and there's more women who are older than there are men. If you go to some kind of event for people your age sometimes the women look at you like you're a piece of meat. 😕
I can't speak for other guys. But for me it's easier. Of course, I could give less than a 💩 now so that might be why. I don't ask women out anymore, they ask me now. And I could care less if anything comes of it because I'm just enjoying the moment. Whatever happens happens.
Depends what you are looking for: if you still want a family, you may need to look at younger age groups. That may bring other challenges as experiences growing up may be less common.
Getting laid continues to get easier. Dating continues to stranger. Relationships are more or less unheard of.
I’ve learned two things about dating or hooking up at my age….
1. GIRLS want/crave ATTENTION
2. WOMEN want/appreciate RESPECT
The second one will fuck you all day and night if she really feels it
It's easier with age because you have money in the bank, established career, a house and less payments so you can afford to travel.
I was a late bloomer. Didn't start dating till 35. To be honest I didn't find it too difficult. Bit of donkey work on apps, but found my fiancé and baby mama pretty quickly
Massively easier..
Particularly if you are 40 = 50 , so easy it should not be legal ! Everything changes.
Not that old yet
But at 27 it’s much easier than it was at 17
And I think the trend continues judging by what everyone is saying
It is harder once done with college because you just meet so many fewer people.
Though it is nice having enough money to actually go places and do things.
It depends on the individual.
I'd say its getting late and difficult for me.
Wbu?
And you are currently single then?
Depends on the area. Maybe he has no issues
It was tough enough in my 20s when I didn't look like some sort of saggy plum with limbs. It isn't even worth bothering now.
Depends on what you want. Something casual then it's easier. Something real? Go buy a dog at this point because the women don't want real anymore.
For men, it is always hard. No matter young or old.
To me now it is easier. Since i look young, then i you can imagine what i looked when i was 25
I never had a date, regardless of my age...18, 27, 35 or 40, all the same to me.
Nobody wants an old motherfucker unless he has assets/ money.
I am 25 but still harder to me
