Why do people think they can tell neurodivergent who to date or can or can’t do?

Just because we have disabilities doesn’t mean we can’t date whoever we want too and we can chose what we want to do. Yeah we need more guidance but come on! Don’t tell us what to do.
I got told it’s better if I date autistic men because they would understand me more and non disabled people are nasty. I was told by my mother that non autistic people can take advantage of me and I’m no offense easily to manipulate and I’m very naive about everyday life and people. I don’t see red flags well. That’s what she and dad things!
I can date non autistic or neurotypical men if I want! Neurotypical people get to date who they want but not neurodivergent people? It isn’t fair? I wish I wasn’t autistic.
