I see it in movies a lot so much that it sounds cliché. Movies and shows often depict an exaggerated piece of what they want reality to be. Please explain what is the push and pull mechanism before love actually happens? I've felt it, so someone else had to feel it too.

Absolutely. The more you push a guy back the more SOME guys will push back by testing your boundaries till you let them in.


If this pushback is carried out in a gentlemanly way (with the woman’s concent) then it’s ok. If it’s aggressive and predatory then it’s not ok. NO means NO but the coy maybe leads the guy to believe he has a shot.
