Would you be too ashamed to date someone who is reserved/awkward?

I feel like men are attracted to me, but are too ashamed to date me because I’m awkward.

Not ashamed. Not at all. I'd be reluctant to put up with the lack of self confidence and timidity. It sort of kills any feelings of intimacy. I've been there / done that. It's like dating and adult with a child's personality. It's exhausting trying to tiptoe around all the problems never knowing what may scare or offend them. And at the same time having to repress all my own needs and instincts. It's not fun at that point.

I don't think I'd feel ashamed if it's someone I like/love, but I think it's harder to get to know someone like that in the first place just because you may not be sure how to interact with them early on.

Nah. Some folks find it endearing. Just practice reading social cues a bit more.

I have been described as those, so it would be perfectly fine for me. I haven't heard anyone describe a girl as that disparagingly.

Not ashamed. I just wouldn't do it. Because most so called "shy" women are actually just closeted narcissists.
