When she stops chasing… what do you actually feel?

Let’s say you were casually dating a girl for a couple of months. Things were good, maybe even great. But over a short span of time, like 2 weeks, you started pulling back. Less texting, less effort.

Maybe because things were getting too real, you’re overwhelmed from work, maybe dating other people too. Maybe you got too comfortable and didn’t think you had to try very hard to get her to like you. Then, the girl goes into total silence. No reaching out, no checking in.

What honestly goes through your head when that happens?

Do you feel confused, relieved, curious? Do you assume she’s over it, or does it ever make you rethink things?

If she’s clearly living a full life without you, and you see her doing so through her social media, does that make you want her more and reignite the desire to chase?
