Thoughts on going to the mall on a first date?

you like the dude or not? If so then you’ll go w him just about where to be w him. Prove to him you’re different than all these women who basically said they want money. I’m not saying I’m cheap but if a girl went w me to the mall for a first date you can bet I’m going to like her even more cause I know she wants to be w me for me, nothing else. Women are so hyped up on oh money. If it doesn’t work out it doesn’t work out. If it does, you have a good story to tell your kids as far as your first date.

That’s the thing at first I was like okay this is different I mean I never been on a date before so I don't know what to expect but I rlly want to get to know him he seems to be what I look for so I don't know maybe I shouldn’t look tm into the fact that it’s a mall… the only thing is I’m scared I’m gonna be awkward cuz we don’t really know eachother and it feels like the kind of activity once you’re comfortable with said person

So go. The one thing about the mall is that there are other people around. So maybe it’ll take away a little of that nervousness, being scared. I don’t know what you two are like. Maybe play some video games in the arcade to breakup the hitters, laugh. Men are not that hard to please. Just be yourself. Unless being yourself is a complete narcissist b*tch. I’m not calling you one but if that’s the case then you need to fix that first otherwise it’ll just end in disaster. But if you’re sweet, kind, fun to be around, it should be fun. Make sure you eat. Men like when women eat. Don’t play this I’m not hungry I’ll just get a salad. Men know women need to eat. It’ll show him you’re comfortable w him. But at the same time don’t be like some of these women who are taking advantage of it by purchasing three meal, 4 drinks, desserts plus more food for their family or friends. Just show up. Say hi.

It went as good as it could’ve gone for the both of us.. we were both rlly socially awkward and I could tell he was nervous getting rlly red… in all it was painfully awkward but in the cutest way possible and we’re going to see eachother again!

That’s good. I get things have changed w how we interact w people these days because of social media, but I think it’s done more harm then good. You have kids who don’t even know how to interact w people. A lot of kids these days are glued to their devices. I wish you the best though. If you have kids one day make sure you minimize social media, get them outside and have them do things.

Yeaa I think so too lol my bestfriend and I were talking and we were laughing thinking about how the older generations would be so disappointed in this newer generation bc of how how badly we are socially and yea I do think social media/texting plays a factor! So yea my kids will not have a devices til like they’re 12 😭 I feel like this is something our entire generation agrees to do cuz we do see the harm it does to us and to especially those gen alpha kids 😫

Yes it’s no good. Not completely but toned so much of your life on that thing. My wife’s sister’s kids are supposedly on the spectrum, but it’s like damn maybe because they don’t have the skills to socially interact w people. Every time we go to see them or they come over the kids have some device in their hand. One of them is a teenager, she don’t even k ow how to order her own food or speak to people. Technology, while it can be good is just dumbing down children.

Welp I def relate to ordering food on my own I don't know why it’s just triggers my anxiety lol that’s cuz I mostly just have my food delivered to my house but I’m trying to like be more social and stuff weird cuz I haven’t grown up with device rlly just iPads not rlly phones I don't know maybe that also a factor

When mu kids were old enough I had them speak for theirselves. So now they know how to interact w people. They’re not scared. I don’t have to worry about them as much being on their own because they know how to steer through life and society. Yes they don’t know everything but they know quite a bit to navigate and learn more in life as they go on their path.

I see nothing wrong with it. When I was your age, it was cool to hang out at the mall, and we had plenty of malls back then near me that had other things to do besides shop (very difficult nowadays but I think that’s because many malls are dying now). One had a carousel in it along with a movie theater, an arcade and a skating rink. Another mall near me had a bungee jumping area. Just make sure it’s a mall that has activities and isn’t solely for shopping, because then the guy might think you’re only after money.

That’s so nice I wish we had malls like this where I live… but no it’s a simple mall there’s a theatre but not much to do gosh I hope he doesn’t think I’m after his money 😭💀

It's a decent idea. Tons of options for food, bubble tea, or desserts around. You can walk all over. You can try outfits on together and have fun dressing each other up. So many places to sit down. You can makeout a little in stalls if you're bold enough to. And it's safe because there's lots of people around, so if they try to pull something shady, you can just shout and get help from random strangers.

It could be good if neither person wants to be totally alone with a new person until they get to know them better, but don't want to double date so they can still have private conversations and be more open about stuff with each other. Plus, if it has an arcade, that could be fun.

I'm assuming its like a restaurant cause I don't know if walking around the mall is a good date unless y'all going on a shopping spree but don't listen to me, I know nothing about dates, prove me wrong 💀

It’s not it’s a basic mall we don’t have big malls with restaurants inside where I’m from... and dw I don't know anything about dates either so I’ll see ig 😭
