Have you ever met someone who was like a shot of Tequila?

This question is inspired by the fact that today is National Tequila Day.

I remember meeting a guy. His energy hit me, stayed in my chest, and made the world spin for second... kind of like a shot of tequila.

I dunno about a shot of tequila but there was one girl in college that I talked to for only 2 weeks and she always felt like a ray of sunshine to be with. Wish things worked out between us, but she wasn't feeling it. All's fair in love and war.

Yeah. I should have left him right where he stood when I met him. But stupidly we went out a couple of times and he ended up flaking but wanting to be super close friends, which I didn't want.

The first time I had tequila it hit me like a shotgun blast to the chest

But since then every time I do tequila shots it goes down like water

Even my friends just look at me like some kind of freak

And similarly, I’ve met a shot of tequila person in the past, and she knocked me off my chair

But since then even when I meet someone like that I feel like I’m still in total control.

Which is sad.
My inner child wishes he could knocked off a chair again.

Tequila is one of those drinks that makes me cringe when I even think of the smell. I got really sick off of it in college and I believe that's the main reason I don't drink.

My experience with tequila is crying, violently throwing up, wondering if I'm going to actually die, maybe a little hallucinating, so, I guess I've met guys that left me in a similar state of mind 😂

My then-boyfriend (now-husband) was also equally the same.
