I dropped from 80 kilos to 68 kilos. I can never change my body again. And I will not accept a fat person. What if I eat their food and then get fat? It's a risk. You'll look like whoever you live with.

11 moThere's underweight, normal, overweight, fat and obese. They're all along a spectrum of weight.
Studies have shown that if you hang out with unhealthy people who eat poorly, you'll likely end up looking like them. And I'm not talking about who you "live" with. This occurred among people who considered themselves friends and simply hung out together.
Remember, no one forces you to eat anyone's food. You are in complete control over what you put in your mouth and how much exercise you perform.
If you have struggled with weight, you'll have to be vigilant your whole life. You have to make that clear no mater who you're with. "I can't eat (X). No, I'll have to be a fruit bowl, not the pudding. I'd prefer baked chicken over fried. (you're offered a choice.). The fish is great and load me up with salad."
Advocate for the foods you're willing to eat over those you won't. You'll get teased sometimes, but so what. It's your body and your health you're taking care of. Ignore people who act ignorantly toward you about this issue. Good luck.10 Reply

Next time, please use punctuation, like a comma here and there, a period, an exclamation point. Your post is one long sentence. Punctuation makes it much easier to read and understand.
11 moI'm glad your weight loss program worked for you. But you cannot extrapolate from that and decide that anyone overweight is to 100% to blame for the condition! This is a MEDICAL problem, NOT a moral one! What worked for you may not work for someone else. A metabolic problem is not something to make fun of. Remember, as human beings, we are not mass-produced! We are NOT all exactly the same, mentally, biologically, physiologically. So get off your high horse and show a little humility.

Now stable at 107 kg
I’m also 190 cm tall and workout a lot so muscle mass is a big part of that
I know what’s like to battle fatness
And I wouldn’t want to date someone actively overeating like there’s no tomorrow00 Reply

11 moYou know those before and after pictures of different drugs...

Well, I think that being too lazy to be physically active or too gluttonous to stop eating bad shit is just as bad. They have a problem and they're usually not even trying to work on it.
10 ReplyI had a similar experience as yourself, dropping from 80 kg to the low 70s. I'm not quite where I want to be yet, but I have changed certain habits.
As far as your question is concerned, if I dated someone or lived with someone who was overweight, it would be a natural thing for me to help them on this journey. But the important thing is what they want. You can't help someone who doesn't accept help.

11 moIf I ever get single again, yes I would - I actually like men with a little on the side, wouldn't be able to tell with who I picked tho. 😂
I think I'd be able to manage my weight despite of being with a fatter dude, my skinny dude eats like crap and I still manage to eat healthy when I remember too. 😂

11 moNo, I've always been fit and obesity is a turnoff for me for a lot of reasons. Looks, health, longevity, and what it says about discipline vs laziness. Doesn't mean an overweight person is not a great person. They just come with too much baggage for me.
00 Reply 4.5K opinions shared on Dating topic. A particular food won't get you fat. A lot of food or high fat food will get you fat. Even then it's not an instant change. Also, if you want you can make food for both of you that won't make you fat and may help them lose weight. I would date them if they're trying to lose weight before I meet them. Anyone who changes their weight for someone else isn't someone you should date.
10 Reply2.4K opinions shared on Dating topic. No. Women bring very little value to a relationship to begin with and if she isn't even in decent shape, why bother. Also, most women that were fat and lose weight end up getting very fat once they are in a relationship for a while because they tend to be lazy and complacent.

Women bring very little value to a relationship? What kind of girls do you hang out with?
I think obviously a fit woman is more attractive. If she has a few excess pounds it is not a big deal, the important thing is that she is not obese!
It is also true that to demand a fit partner one should be fit first!

11 moYeah, since overweight could mean anything.. She could be overweight because she has a bit more fat in the booty or tat tat area.. But yeah as long as it's not crazy, and the weight distribution is good..

11 moSure, I have before and it's attractive. It wasn't any different than dating a skinny girl besides for intimate (not in a bad way either).
00 Reply 1.4K opinions shared on Dating topic. Yes, and I guess it would more depend on why they are overweight and are they actively trying to be healthy.

11 moI’m a big girl myself. My last ex was 6’4” and had Homer Simpson’s body, so yes I would date an overweight person if the conversation was good and the chemistry was right.

00 ReplyNot someone who was really fat, but I'm pretty tolerant towards thickness/curves. I am naturally slim myself, so I am more attracted to women with a bit of fat on them.
