If you’ve given up on dating what would be the #1 reason as to why you reached that point?

For me it would be the fact that lately I’ve interacted with women who happened to have secret relationships.

This in conjunction with my experience from my previous relationship just killed it for me.

I got sick of it because the vast majority of women.

1. Lie constantly

2. They're selfish

3. They're greedy.

4. They're mean.

5. 70% of woman say finances are the top priority in a relationship

6. 70% of divorces happen on the women's end.

7. 1/3rd of all marriages ends in divorce.

8. I'm scared of getting framed for rape when I did nothing wrong because she decides to be a bitch. This happens way too often, and a lot of guys dipped out because they're genuinely scared of getting hit with false allegations. Worse there are never any consequences for the women when she lies.

9. Divorce courts are biased as hell.

10. Custody courts are biased as hell.

11. Women have ridiculous standards.

12. Women almost never compromise.

13. Women feel like they're owed things because their women, but men are vilified for having our own standards.

14. They have next to no consequences when THEY commit sexual harassment or rape.

15. They take, take and take in the relationship emotionally and offer no support back.

16. Women cheat just as much as men they just lie about it more.

17. The current state of child support system is bullshit. Women get handed money for the kids with no accountability and spend it on themselves instead of the kid. Until there's accountability for woman misappropriating child support its bullshit men have to pay it. That money is for the kid not them.

18. Women constantly complain about having it worse than men in society when in fact the advantages have completely flipped, and men have it worse than woman in society now. Women said they wanted equality, but they really wanted supremacy, and they got it.

19. A baffling number of women are mean when they shoot you down for no reason. That cuts deep, putting yourself out there is hard a polite rejection stings but when you mock them for shooting their shot you ruin their mood for weeks.

20. The damage rejection does to you stacks every time it happens and eventually your heart starts cracking.

21. Women don't even know what women want.

22. Women can never admit their wrong.

23. A surprisingly growing number of them are physically abusive.

The list could probably get longer if I thought more about it but that's my take.

Couldn't ever keep a relationship.
I spent a disproportionate amount of my time between the ages of 14 and 30 trying to ensure I could be in a permanent relationship... but those few relationships I could get into always ended amazingly quickly for one reason or other (I often wasn't even told).
I was married for 2 years and even had a daughter... but that marriage ended for... reasons. Long distance reasons.
After that I had a few more relationships, and most of them just ended in a complete mess and I got more and more cynical.
In the end I just figured it was probably just that I was incapable of maintaining a long term relationship... and quit. Besides, I'd kinda tried everything already and figured I didn't really want it so bad any more.

My experiences from previous relationships, my experiences from talking/texting/going on dates with men, my experiences with men on dating sites, seeing how other peoples relationships and male partners are. The lies, manipulation, cheating, disrespect, abuse (physical/dmotional/financial), lack of accountability and seemingly even pure hatred towards women, the deadbeats, man babies, selfishness in both bed and general, adding no value to her life just more stress/headache/heartbreak/tears… There’s no number one experience, it all worked together to make me come to the conclusion that such a large portion of men are assholes in one way or the other that it’s not worth it. The chance of finding someone good for something that would be lasting for the rest of our lives feel so small that I would probably have an equal chance at winning the jackpot in a lottery.

I'm 33 and the likelihood of me finding a man without kids at my age is slim to none. Plus, I'm almost at the age where getting married and having children is more of a dream than reality. After 35, it becomes increasingly harder to get pregnant and if you do, the pregnancy is likely to be very risky.

Even if I were to meet someone now or in the near future, by the time we get to that point of wanting marriage and a family, I'll be well over 35.

It's just better to give up on the idea that it's going to happen for me and just be content with being alone for the rest of my life.

I haven't necessarily given up, but I guess my reason as to why I actively don't do it is because I'm just trying to really get everything in my life glued together.. But it is also a lot of toxic women out here who play too many games, or get bored too easily..

Im married. I guess I never really dated. Just really fell for a guy i met at the church hall when I was 14. He was older and I had to wait patiently while he dated other girls.

One time I hooked up with a girl I once had a thing with… turns out she was not only in a relationship without me knowing but she had a kid with him
