There has been physical. But I don’t get it. He tries to text me on and on and on, but I ignore his messages. And I just reply a couple days later. I barely give him attention so I don’t know. And we haven’t had sex for like a couple months.

I guess I don’t understand what’s not to get. He’s trying to keep in touch with you for a casual sex arrangement until he finds whoever else it is he’s looking for. Since hooking up has happened, and you always eventually respond, that means there’s potential for it to happen again. A couple months is not a long time, there’s no bad blood between you because you seem to be cool with the rejection (since you keep replying to him at some point), he thinks you’re down for hooking up one day. You don’t have to give him a lot of attention or really any at all, as long as it’s something.
