Have you ever felt disrespected at work but not voiced your issue, ignored your feelings and stayed at the job?

Disrespected yes. But i ignore the people that did. It just gave me something to work towards and be better at what i was doing. Few years later i work a better position. Have more freedom at work and started getting a better raise. And those that i cut off are still slaving away and in the same position. Everyone is going to be disrespected at some point by someone. Its how you handle it. Everyone needs to work and makes ends meet so your focus should be financial and not always friendship and make people happy

Sadly, I have a bad tendency to not be able to take anyone's shit and if I'm being unjustly berated, I'll speak up for myself, even if it means they let me go.

only for a short period of time untill i managed to find a different job. it's not smart to quit your job to be unemployed.

sometimes the level of disrespect is so outragous that telling them just won't cut it cause they know exactly what they're doing. at that point, just quitting is the better option.
