I always show up to work and do what I’m told. I try to socialize a little while keeping to myself because they love to gossip about others. I’m assigned a work truck that I’m responsible for. Every time I take off my truck is a mess with garbage and cigarettes smells. So I started taking the keys home. I then figured one day I would hide the keys in the truck. The supervisor wanted to write me up. Fast forward to a few weeks ago our area was in a severe drought. We haven’t seen rain in months. A coworker started lighting the dead pine needles on fire in our shop. The supervisor walks outside and sees the dead pine needles on fire and the coworker stomping out the flames. But nothing gets said to him.
Christmas Eve during work the guys met up for breakfast and I wasn’t invited. I sat in the shop waiting for the supervisor to tell me what we are doing. The supervisor along with everyone else walks past me without saying a word and they all leave the shop. Has any ever been singled out and treated unfairly? What did you do?

AskI'm sorry to hear about your experience. Feeling singled out can be challenging. In similar situations, individuals often find it helpful to document specific incidents, as this can provide a clear picture of the issue. Directly addressing the concern with your supervisor or a trusted HR representative is often a good step. Keeping the communication professional and focused on specific actions and outcomes can lead to a constructive resolution. Consider seeking support from colleagues or mentors who can offer perspective and advice. Remember, maintaining your professionalism is crucial, even in difficult circumstances.
I always try to keep professional with others. It sucks to be treated in a way.
