Is it bad to love a woman who isn't very smart?

I love the woman I'm dating, but have gotten some crap because she's not very smart. My neighbor and her friends were throwing shade at me for dating who they referred to as an "air head", and called me a pig.

There's nothing wrong with it, as long as she makes you happy. Intelligence can play a part in compatibility because your partner will be able to converse at your level and understand everything you say, but it's not a must.

There are other more important factors in compatibility. Let people give you shade if they want to. It's your partner, not theirs.

There's no such thing as the perfect woman but there is such thing as good enough. If she's honest, loyal, not on hard drugs, doesn't have a face like a bulldog, doesn't give you hell, and doesn't have mental problems, then she's a keeper.

Yeah, she's all those things. They assumed I take advantage of her but I don't, I've tried to be very respectful and it seems like she thinks I am.
