Depends largely on the man. Some men don't want serious relationships, marraige or kids and if you are the kind of woman who does you don't date them.

Most obvious example is sexual fidelity, women are seeking the best man they can get, men seek as many women as they can get, yet most women naively believe men are seeking the best women they can get.

The average man may do that because he doesn't have options and since most men are average you naively believe that's what men want. However men want variety, if the same average man had a choice of banging five different girls in five different nights vs being stuck banging the same women every night he would gladly choose the former. It's just that society protects women's feelings, and most men won't tell them the truth because they fear losing sexual access. You admitted it yourself a man that is "famous" is going to have a bunch of women. The only difference between him and an average guy is the famous guy can pull it off.
