what makes it wrong for a young woman to date or marry older men?

I don't know about "wrong" but age gap relationships come with potential challenges.

• Different stages of life. Kids vs been there / done that.
• Different friend groups who may or may not accept an older or younger lover. Jealousy, social programming, etc.
• Maybe different activity levels and interests.
• Different levels of experience, perspective, and maturity.
• Different interests.
• Vastly different financial assets and stability.

Some of that stuff can also be a positive...

• Youthful energy and a relative freedom from life's baggage.
• Mature stability, experience, and knowledge.
• Access to people that a young person would never typically have.
• Exposure to things like art, literature, and music can be a 2 way street.
• Younger women tend to be Ok with an older man's activity level and sports interests whereas most young women can't keep up with men their own age when it comes to skiing, surfing, biking, hiking, or even tennis.

I’m having this quandary atm!! I know a man who is now a friend, who has been spending time with a 21yr old girl, who’s devastated atm.
He says it’s more a
