Older woman meets younger man (Advice)? (Women only)?

I've recently met an incredible and kind woman, She is older than me by 7 years, I really like her.. we went for a date and instantly clicked and the sparks were flying, she told me she really liked me and that she had butterflies after our date and she hasn't felt that spark or excitement in over 12 years.. She is Ukrainian by origin and I am British, She flew over to her country to begin a divorce from her husband which she no longer loves but has a child with. She asked for no contact during these times so the divorce would be easier and her husband doesn't get angry... she broke that no contact rule on the 1st day and told me she longs for me, misses me and has been listening to my voice notes with goosebumps on her body.. 3 Days have passed and I haven't had any surprise messages, I hope she messages again if she has time or is able too. I was just wondering in terms of waiting how long it would take for her to reach out again to me, Any advice would be greatly appreciated, M28-f35

If she’s asked for space give her space and let this happen on her terms. She’s got a lot going on right now but won’t have forgotten you, don’t worry.


Worst case scenario was she’s not actually getting divorced and used you for a bit of escapism. If so she might ghost you or come and go/get hot and cold.

First of all, it is good that she had butterflies in her stomach with you after not having that feeling with anybody for over 12 years. It sounds like she is nervous that her husband will find out about your date with her and fly into an uncontrollable rage of anger. The fact that she broke the no contact rule right away tells me that she has genuine feelings for you. She hasn't message in over three days because she wants to finish up with the divorce and keep things on the low until it is finalized. She most likely will reach out to you in the next day or two.

I should have asked the guys to 😂 she returns on the 22nd, so im very excited to meet with her again, we've made plans to go away for the day.. she said that if her husband were to find out maybe he could take the passports away and I don't want this to happen, I want her to be happy and safe and finish up the divorce so we can enjoy some lovely times together

she even said to me when she is away, I hope you don't find someone else because you get bored of waiting but I assured I found the one I want

That is good you reassured her that she is the one you want. This will make her feel comfortable knowing that while she is going through the stressful process of a divorce.
