There is a man who really cares about me, always watches my stories and he seems to really like me. I have developed feelings and I feel butterflies when I think about him or when he texts me. He knows about my anxiety and vulnerabilities and he seems to be fond of protecting me a lot.

So my question is for you guys: If you want the best and to protect a woman, is this the general case for platonic friends or does it mean that you also have feelings and is it an expression of love as well?
