My boyfriend frequently keeps tabs on his ex?

My boyfriend and I have been together almost an entire year. We have a pretty good relationship, I’ve met his family, we do so much stuff together. We’re also both immigrants that moved here so we have so much in common culturally as well.

I’ve been very public about our relationship, him not so much but he’s not a big social media person.

However, for the last month or so he’s been checking his ex’s social media every single day. She’s always in his search history, and I’ll often see him pulling up her profile to view her stories. She doesn’t follow him anywhere, I’ve checked. And he doesn’t follow her either.

Why would he be doing this when we’re so good together and have been together for almost a year?

What really sucks is that you are watching it right in front of you ... he's with you but can't move on.

Then if she finds some one you have to live and feel that all the time because now he will want to know more so he will always on her page. And it would suck because if you get angry or in a bad mood then you have to hear that

But why would he be doing so many things with me like bringing me home to meet his very private family, and then watching her like this? He told me he never considered a future with her or anything like that so I just can’t understand why he’s doing this checking her profiles every single day. And I have told him it bothers me he insists it doesn’t mean anything but I don’t know if anyone that checks on their ex as frequently as he does

It's not what he is doing with you. it's what he is doing without you

When you start dating someone, you don't see your ex. Not unless you have kids together.

For me, that would be the last thing in the world i would be doing... first of all I wouldn't do that to my new girlfriend. Because I would not want her to think the wrong thing. Because like with you its always going to be in your head. And that's wrong

What he really needs to do is turn it around. What would he be saying if it was you seeing your ex

Could he maybe just be curious? I don't know what to do here he brought me home to meet his parents he hasn’t done that with any of his ex’s. But I see him checking her stories again last night

He’s given me no reason to really be suspicious of him. They broke up a month before we started dating and she had him blocked for quite a while. I just don’t understand why he’s doing this now after all this time

He said “oh I’m just seeing if she’s doing well” but I’ve spent almost every day with him for the last month and he’s looked at her page pretty much once a day

You should talk to him about this. Ask him why he feels the need to check on her once a day. Ask him straight up if he still has feelings for her.

Well he obviously lied about that , cuz that doesn’t seem like someone who’s moved on
