When I was single, I used to think that girls I like are beyond my reach and they never have difficulty getting their guys.

I was wrong.

Girls that I liked are also having romantic and sexual needs. And they may also lack self confidence and dare not approach the guys they like.

After married, I realised that some girls that I thought were out of my reach actually had crushes on me.

Key point: we start with the lack of sexual confidence. But after sufficient dating and flirting, when we gained our confidence, the opposite gender also faces similar challenges.

This is a part of growing up.

Match her energy.

Most women will only invest minimally in you. Those are the ones you want to cut loose. She's telling you who she is and what she thinks of you (possibly what she thinks of all men). It's been my experience that a woman that truly loves you WILL make the effort, will put in the time. She WILL NOT grow into this. If she isn't this way in the beginning she never will be. Just walk away. You're doing everyone a favor.

Watch their actions, not their words.
There are many people who claim to be very honest, mature and Godly men, but when actually confronted to uphold their own ideals; reveal their true intentions.
So, best thing I’ve learnt is to take it slow and let someone show you who they are over time rather than investing your emotions too quickly.
