What are some tips you think could help the opposite sex in dating?

Anything you have noticed yourself some men/women do that you find unattractive/attractive?

For me i would say whats unattractive that many men do:

• Say they have no goals
• Just wanna wake up late and do nothing
• Complains and do nothing
• Simps super hard from first minute (ex you are the most beautiful woman on earth etc)
• Sends D pics and hints at having sex on the first date or evan before the first date
• Pushes me to drink/smoke and say im boring if I dont

Whats attractive:

• Talks about his schedule of all the productive things he has planned for the day
• Wakes up early and work/train
• Takes care of his health
• Respects that I dont drink/smoke and finds solutions around it
• Is not always availble (has a life)
• Is kind enough to be normal/respecful but also can tease/use sarcasm (no simping lovebombing)

I know some will be mad at my comment esspecially the anonymous lol but im just saying whats true to me and many other women. Im sure there is many things women do and say that is unattractive too.

Women can be a bit ambiguous about what they truly want. I hear a lot of remarks like "I'm sending out all these signals and he still doesn't get it". Men are not very good at reading your minds. I'd wish women were more straightforward. Attraction and dating is a game where both need to give and take, where both need to pull the other closer. It's not easy for men to be the ones who have to initiate the game and lead you where you want to go, or where you will let us lead you. Hence our insecurities when dating.

Your list of things that are unattractive are the same for us men regarding women.

As for your last remark, that's probably the biggest challenge, so I revert the question back to you : when is teasing acceptable and how far can we go without pushing it too far / too soon?

I agree with you to an extent. But I would never ask a man out. However I can be very very clear im interested by asking of he is single, if he has any plans for the weekend, conpliment him etc. But if I do all that and he doesn't ask me out imma assume he isn't interested.

I think teasing is fine once you have talked for a bit maybe after 1-2 weeks of talking. As long as its not anything severe..

Exactly. Flirting is something you need to build up gradually. That's also the most interesting part: feeling it's going somewhere and yet, you still hold back a bit. Teasing needs to be done in a very subtle way and only after you get to know each other.

(1) Don't be a dbag... chivalry still goes a long way if you're actually trying to attract a lady.

(2) Just bc she's a little stand-offish initially doesn't mean you stop being a gentleman. Be consistent. If it doesn't work out with her for some reason you might still have a good shot with one of her friends.

those are all great points and completely agree. if anything it's the balance of not being always available (maybe you have life/other partners/etc) and proposing future fun dates. 'Hey I'm available next Saturday, we could both go to say event, concert, fair, or convention for the day'

Then, if you want canoodling, advance your way into third base in one session. Anything else is awkward teasing. But only consummate your relationship when it is "official" and you are at least contemplating marriage.
