What would be nice and sweet way to approach women you don’t know?

I’m trying to move away from online dating, so my next step would be to go old fashioned way asking girls out. Have done it once but I guess I could’ve done better.

It is always a matter of reason WHY you want to approach total strangers. Given your age group, I presume that it is ultimately to get into their pants. I know because I am a victim almost every day of strangers approaching me; not to ask for the time or direction to a geographical place. No, they approach women in hope to have the chance to lay them flat.

It is unfortunate that men don't have the courage to tell those women that they approach what their ultimate motive, their final aim is when they approach them. We all know that in today's totally screwed up world, it is very seldom for the purpose of a long term (30+ years) relationship but more likely for a short term (less than 10 years) and thus, more for the sole purpose to have physical interactions with those potential victims.

Well that is not true. I just want to meet a person to enjoy time with that’s all, and if all goes well then we can start talking about pants. But right now, no motivation to get in no ones pants :D.
It’s just that most of my hobbies don’t have any women to meet or talk to (hockey, rock climbing, maybe gym but that places just doesn’t feel right). I have two female friends that I hang out with but I like to keep things as it is, with no romance involved.
So I feel like my only option is to just start cold approaching, I don't know.

An easy way is to show good manners at a cafe/church/etc.


Hold the door open and smile while she accepts your kindness. (If a cafe, get in line behind her and maintain casual eye contact. Perhaps break the ice by asking her for a recommendation for example, “Have you been here before? There are so many options I’d appreciate a recommendation on what to order. What’s good here?”

Well, it depends on what the setting is. You can usually do it by having a normal convo (a good sense of humor helps) because it’s implied that you’re flirting by starting a convo with someone you don’t have to talk to. Even if she isn’t sure you’re flirting, all you need to do is get her number or social media.

I just think when ever I would see a girl i would like to approach my brain just shut off. I just need like good conversation starter, or something to go with.

Practice, especially starting convos with people you aren’t interested in because it isn’t easy to start a convo with anyone, so that will help you hone your skills

Not sure that "sweet" is proper attitude. You should definitely radiate confidence and not behave like a whipped puppy if turned down. If you are lucky enough to get at least a temp. invite listen rather than talk, don't act over-confident but you can compliment her.

I really don't think there is a "right" way to do it to a stranger, unless you're in a social setting. Then, just a simple "hi", with a smile, would be fine if you happen to make eye contact, then I guess eventually introduce yourself. If you're talking about approaching girls in a store or on the sidewalk, I don't know lol I've had it happen a couple times at stores. Once, the guy was actually really nice, he asked what I was looking for (we were in the frozen meal isle) and he told me what he was looking for and we talked for a couple minutes. He introduced himself and did ask if I was "taken", I was. The best thing to do, is put yourself out there and get used to seeing different women, so, at least you know she's seen you, then eventually approach her and say, "I've seen you around and thought I'd introduce myself"... That's basically how my boyfriend approached me.

Join a group with a hobby you enjoy. That immediately is a conversation starter since you both will clearly share a similar hobby that can segue into more conversation. The problem with plenty of guys is that they approach women and ask them out without trying to engage in a conversation, and we don't know you. So it's off putting, especially in this day and age.

But that means i need to find a hobby that girls do.
My hobbies are ice hockey, rock climbing, gym, and some other things like sports etc. , but there are almost no women doing them.

I would feel wrong trying to just join somekind of hobby that i don’t even enjoy/ or do just to talk to women.

Not at all. That means find a hobby that you're interested in as there are women who will be too. Just because you think women aren't into rock climbing or gyms does not make it so. Too bad you're not in Colorado--outdoorsy types love it there.

Yes. How do you think people meet? I met my boyfriend at a campus party. Never seen him once in my life before that night

At party maybe, but I don’t live in US where there are a lot of parties. Also not really a party guy, since I don’t like to drink.
I could approach maybe someone at university, but there aren't actually a lot of people in my faculy , so i don’t know.

you are right. I will try to find a new hobby that looks interesting at least. I would go to parties, and not drink but there a literally 0 parties, around my area.
I have tried night clubs, some night bars, but I have never seen women that I would be intersted there, everyone just likes to drink their minds off.

So far i think there is no hope of me finding a traditional wife because all the women i have talked to besides my mother have said that they want kids but they want to work too and thats not how you raise kids properly.
