No more like join a group that has hobbies that interest you. Like if you like to run find a group of men and women that go running in your area like meetup. com has groups maybe in your city. Hiking, or a book club etc.. even bowling yes but find a group so you are not alone and be genuinely interested in each person you meet and just like that you get invited to get togethers and get to meet more people and eventually find someone. What you need is personality, kindness and compassion, respect, intelligence, a sense of humor, honesty and integrity, good communication skills, and shared interests and values. Anything else is just a bonus.
