He prefers texting but we have talked on the phone before and even though he didn't like it, he started getting used to it. My best friends boyfriend calls her 3 times a day and I can't even get one phone call. If I do it's once in a blue moon

Okay, so if this is an actual boyfriend that you go out on dates with etc. I really wouldn’t worry too much about this unless there’s other behaviour traits that make you feel uneasy. Some people just don’t like talking on the phone. I’m one of them. I see the phone ringing and I just look at it until it goes to voicemail 😂. I’m a text person. Maybe your boyfriend is the same.


If he’s someone you’ve met online and not met up with yet, or someone who lives long distance, then it’s a bit more unusual I guess.


If it’s something that really bothers you, speak to him. But don’t base your relationship on why your friends do… it’s an immature way of managing a relationship.
