I order off the kids menu when we get fast food. I rarely eat fast food, the portion size is more than enough and you get a toy 🤣

Truth? A guy friend and I once fought for the kids' version of the mac and cheese at a place where they just prepped it with fresh flamed cheddar instead of the "adult version" which had a heavy layer of pancetta on top and just didn't taste as good... But that was ONE exception and we were being goofy in solidarity and as friends. We DID also order drinks and a few proper apps.

But no, if I was on a date I'd never think of ordering off a children's menu and nor should the fellow I'm with.

I DO know someone who, no matter WHERE she goes, always orders either plain pasta with butter off the kids menu or plain boiled rice off the sides menu. EVEN on trips abroad. It's a serious turnoff and no one likes going out with her... Don't be THAT girl.

Some people have a small appetite, could be they ate a big lunch or they are dieting or saving money, some other reason which is within their right as a consumer then yeah I don’t care. If they want to order off the kid’s menu then I’ll let them.

Nit at all. There's a fish and chip shop that I usually go to, and the kids meal is huge. Plenty for 2 people.
