After 6 years of relationship, when a guy says he feels no connection and apologises for saying it, then blocks you. What does it mean?

Not much more to add than the relationship has ended for him. He sees no future with you for whatever reason.

My feeling is that he would prefer to end the relationship rather than to cheat or at least, rather than you to know that he has cheated on you. It is a clear cut before you even find out.

Time to move on and let the next victim take your place. She will probably also find out that he has no more connection with her after a few months or years.

If he is in the same age group as you are, that can also signify that he has reached his midlife crisis and wants to try out some new relationship.
