Can anyone tell why would their ex block them after one year of breakup and then unblock later?

This doesn’t really make sense to me. I’d understand if he blocked you right after the breakup then once the bad feelings subsided he unblocked you, but it’s very strange to block you a year later. Many possibilities :
1. Maybe he was checking your profile often and blocked you to stop himself from doing so
2. Maybe he is seeing someone now and his girlfriend wanted you blocked
3. Maybe he wanted to see if you were still interested in him so he blocked you as a way to play games and see if it would spark a reaction

He was the one who broke up first despite me giving him chances when he hid so many stuff and still we got back together… i do appreciate him for so many stuff but then later when stuff started getting worse he told to break up again this time I didn’t think of anything and just kept my self respect and moved on but we both know each other for awhile so we decided to end mutually

So it is possible you may still be on his mind. For him to even bother blocking you a year later then unblocking you obviously means something but not necessarily that he wants to be with you again.

Nope. Unless I am that ex I cannot tell you why. I am not a mind reader. I can guess why. Maybe he had something that he wanted to hide from you seeing temporarily. That would be one possible reason. I really can't think of any others at the moment. I guess why care? Don't say you don't either because you are obviously checking what he is up to if you found out you were blocked. I mean it has been a year so I wouldn't give a shit what he was up to nor would I check. He can block me all he wants and I would never know.

I used to care but i found it weird since we ended up on good terms so i thought we were friends and one day i saw that I couldn’t see his profile and someone mentioned he blocked me

Me and my ex do not talk. My kids are old enough that they don’t need their mother’s input and they don’t need their dad’s input to have a conversation. We just don’t have any reason to be talking to each other thank God.
