Why would an ex block you one year after break up?

I just posted some pics of myself on my moments occasionally. That’s all.

I didn’t block him so he would see that break up didn’t ruin me and I was still happy, strong and pretty.

He never posted any photos of his relationship.

He called me month ago to ask me how I was.

He’s in a new relationship, might it be his new girlfriend is very jealous of me and made him do it?

He blocked me days after I told his mom, I am no longer willing to think about my ex and it’s time for me to forget him and also I am no longer willing to hear about him from his mother. And right after I posted last couple pics of mine that were quite pretty and sexy I guess.

Well, I am glad, because he and his whole family was too toxic to me. I was just wondering, why’d someone block an ex after a year.

Maybe before he was still trying to keep you in his life, in some very indirect way, from a distance—even though he had already started a new relationship.


He never blocked you before, so perhaps he was still viewing your content.


But, maybe his girlfriend finally saw and forced him to block you.


Or perhaps he blocked you after hearing from his mom that you’ve decided to completely moved on.


But, you’ve BEEN asking his mom to no longer mention him, and she kept doing it.


So, it may be the girlfriend scenario where she caught him looking at your pictures.

It's probably one of two things. Either his girlfriend is jealous and possessive and wants him to remove any possible competition, or he still isn't over you and the reminders are painful. After all, the breakup was something his mother forced him into, not something he initiated on his own.

Could be either. His new girlfriend. His mom. You told her you don't want to hear about him, he removed one of the ways you could hear about him. Doesn't seem to be a problem, and maybe his mom gave him the idea. Either way, you got what you asked for. That was kind of them both, and really the least they could do.

There is no way to know for sure. It could be because of his new girlfriend. It could be because he couldn't bear to see pretty or sexy pictures of you. It could be because his mom was pissed off at you for not letting her use you as an emotional punching bag in order to a assuage her guilt.
My guess would be the last one, but we really don't know.
